Stratland Homes® Enters Atlanta, Georgia With Homes of
Cornerstone Acquisition
Atlanta, GA - June 27, 2006 -- Today, Stratland Homes announced that it is establishing operations in Atlanta, Georgia with the acquisition of local family builder Homes of Cornerstone, one of the area's fastest-growing builders of entry and mid-level homes. This acquisition represents Stratland Homes' first move into the dynamic and fast-growing Atlanta homebuilding market, and will extend the Company's reach across the Southeastern, U.S.

"By purchasing Homes of Cornerstone, Stratland Homes has acquired Timberlands and The Reserve, adjacent developments in Paulding County. Both feature Craftsman style homes and amenities that focus on bringing families together and complementing the beautiful surroundings. When complete, The Reserve will be a 300 home master-planned community with homes priced from the low $200's into the $400's. Timberlands' remaining 53 homes are priced from $190's to the mid $200's.
The Atlanta, Georgia expansion will be led by Bobby Mink, Stratland Construction for the Southeast Region. Bobby is a member of the Stratland team, and has spent almost 25 years in the home building industry, working from carpenter up to his current position. He has spent most of his career with John Weiland Homes and Neighborhood, as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Northeast Region, achieved a sales volume of more than $120 million in 2004.
