Stratland Homes® of Arizona Receives Accolades
Scottsdale, AZ - April 19, 2006 -- Stratland Homes of Arizona entered the Annual Major Achievement in Merchandising Excellence Awards (MAME) competition again this year. The MAME event is hosted by the Homebuilders Association of Central Arizona. Homebuilders and their associates, such as architectural firms, submitted entries and an independent panel of judges was selected to determine the winners. This year s event was the 26th annual and it was held April 1st.
After being a finalist several times, Stratland Homes of Arizona won an award. The Sundance model at their Sun Groves community received the award for best floor plan design in the $350,000 to $600,000 price bracket. The architect of the Sundance model was Linderoth and Associates.
"We were very honored to be recognized by a panel of our peers with this award," said Jill Matteson, Vice President of Marketing at Stratland Homes of Arizona.
Sun Groves is Stratland Homes of Arizona's third completed development. This master planned community is located at the base of the picturesque San Tan Mountains in Chandler and is now sold out. The homes ranged in size from 1973 to 3753 square feet and included 3-car garages. Some single story floor plans had a basement option and two story homes had up to six bedrooms.
In addition, over the past couple of years Stratland Homes of Arizona's SunWest Trails community in Chandler received accolades for small volume builder of the year, best merchandising and best floor plan. In 2004, Stratland Homes of Arizona's Countryside Estates community, also located in Chandler, received the City of Chandler Architectural Award for Production Homes.
At the present time, the Stratland Homes of Arizona team is busy preparing four new communities in central Arizona. They are looking forward to entering more homebuilder competitions in the near future.
